Objectives:
- To attract international bachelor students for UoN graduate programs
- To raise the awareness and attractiveness of the UoN and its capacities in Higher Education and Research, especially in Climate Change
- To strengthen the UoN network through a short mobility program
- To help students improve their academic foundations on climate change and help them develop a new skill set
- To develop students’ sociocultural competence and initiate their international network. The program will connect students’ living experiences and backgrounds to the content, positively reflect students’ cultures within the curriculum, and expand their linguistic repertoire. In addition, they will connect and make new friends for life from all over the world during the program
- To showcase the UoN campus facilities and local environment
The program will run for two (2) weeks from July 1-12, 2024, and is open to current Undergraduate/Bachelor’s students having completed a minimum of 2 years at the time of the summer school
Deadline for application: The applications should be submitted before April 15, 2024 at 24:00h
The total number of students shall be limited to 35 with the proposed targets:
- 5 Kenyan students
- 10 African Students
- 20 Non-African students (European/North American/Asian)
The language of instruction is English.
